The full four step is targeted for startups, but it’s a great reference for anyone missing any of the steps; 1: logo, 2: identity package, 3: printing (I have teamed up with Tryk Butikken in Copenhagen to provide local printing) and 4: website.

I am often asked about prices. This is tricky and dangerous ground, as there are so many variables to consider, and each project really is unique. However, the new four step includes price points for each step so you know what to expect.

Copenhagen design & fashion darlings Femmes Regionales approached Lequick Design for background animations for a fashion show at the Danish pavilion at the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai. The Femmes created images for the show’s theme, H.C. Andersen fairy tales, and after some hard work and a little magic, Lequick Design returned them as a 30-minute animation.

PallesGavebod is the brainchild of the talented people at Copenhagen Bombay.

This is Denmark’s new national online library universe for 8-12 year olds. Integrating books, music, film, games, sites and more with staff recommendations, user favorites, filmclips, quizzes, social networking and a group of colorful characters to guide the way, Palles Gavebod is solidly positioned to bring the fun back to the library system.

The PallesGavebod crew of characters will start to appear in libraries throughout Denmark this summer. Right now, this is the demo launch. More to come.

Web design was a collaborative effort, with one Jesper Rasmussen building the graphic foundation.

Update 17.08.10: Pallesgavebod.dk officially opened yesterday with a ceremony in Roskilde. Say goodbye to the demo, the site is fully public now. Enjoy.

Lequick Design just moved to a cozy location in the heart of Nørrebro, Copenhagen. Nørrebrogade 5C, to be precise. Come visit, I’m almost as good at making tea as I am at making websites. Here’s how to find it.

The new site, MikeSheridan.dk, is designed to balance an electronic media look and feel with an influence of Scandinavian simplicity, achieved via monospace typography and a minimal grid. Perhaps most importantly, such a site has to be easily updateable from the road, a requirement of the touring DJ. This led us to integrate existing web media applications.

Yet the best part of this site is the music itself. Visit for a listen and you’ll understand.

Fresh-baked tees are in from local Nørrebro printer Trykker Tøsen, and they look sharp.

Hand-printed, silk-screen designs, red and green Pantone inks, and 100% organic cotton tees from American Apparel. Couldn’t be finer.

This was a small print edition, but there are currently a handful of tees available via email for 300DKK (40€).

Copenhagen-based T2B delivers unique signage and modelling solutions to Scandinavia. Custom 3-D forms is where T2B’s talents really shine through.

T2B’s impressive portfolio is now fittingly showcased on a new website, t2b.dk. In this case, the site is a quiet throne where elegant slideshows, impressive photography, quality writing and a careful attention to usability to demonstrate that content is truly king.

VagabondTours.dk is a Danish travel agency specializing in active tours and vacations all over Europe.

This project was run and managed by Ebita, with Lequick Design just stepping in to deliver a fresh, light and user-friendly web design solution.

Midweek I also debuted the roughcut of The Passion of Joan of Arc [rematched]. More about this project to come in 2010.
