PallesGavebod is the brainchild of the talented people at Copenhagen Bombay.

This is Denmark’s new national online library universe for 8-12 year olds. Integrating books, music, film, games, sites and more with staff recommendations, user favorites, filmclips, quizzes, social networking and a group of colorful characters to guide the way, Palles Gavebod is solidly positioned to bring the fun back to the library system.

The PallesGavebod crew of characters will start to appear in libraries throughout Denmark this summer. Right now, this is the demo launch. More to come.

Web design was a collaborative effort, with one Jesper Rasmussen building the graphic foundation.

Update 17.08.10: Pallesgavebod.dk officially opened yesterday with a ceremony in Roskilde. Say goodbye to the demo, the site is fully public now. Enjoy.

The new site, MikeSheridan.dk, is designed to balance an electronic media look and feel with an influence of Scandinavian simplicity, achieved via monospace typography and a minimal grid. Perhaps most importantly, such a site has to be easily updateable from the road, a requirement of the touring DJ. This led us to integrate existing web media applications.

Yet the best part of this site is the music itself. Visit for a listen and you’ll understand.

Copenhagen-based T2B delivers unique signage and modelling solutions to Scandinavia. Custom 3-D forms is where T2B’s talents really shine through.

T2B’s impressive portfolio is now fittingly showcased on a new website, t2b.dk. In this case, the site is a quiet throne where elegant slideshows, impressive photography, quality writing and a careful attention to usability to demonstrate that content is truly king.

VagabondTours.dk is a Danish travel agency specializing in active tours and vacations all over Europe.

This project was run and managed by Ebita, with Lequick Design just stepping in to deliver a fresh, light and user-friendly web design solution.

The Aeronautical Association sound film was sponsored by Statens Kunstråd.

Clean, clear and carefully controlled design anchors the new web presence of LêLê Nhàhàng, a street smart Vietnamese restaurant and a Vesterbro staple.

The new site is built in xHTML with a sprinkling of Flash elements throughout. The original grid was drawn by Jon Kort Pedersen, and the site is powered by the Umbraco CMS system, via Ebita ApS.

allezallez.dk: Vietnamese take-away for Vesterbro from the fine people behind LêLê.

You’ll see a familiar UI used for a new application: a restaurant menu. The flow is simple: browse the menu, make your selections, order, then take to Vesterbrogade 56 to collect your food.

A handful of xHTML pages optimize the site for search engines, and Flash provides the interactive environment. Menus and imagery are powered by XML feeds for external content management.

Part sculptor, part performance artist, and part installation artist, Ole Lorin has just taken his artistic presence from Copenhagen into cyberspace with the launch of OleLorin.dk.

We used a sleek slideshow viewer from the good people at triptracker.net and some development expertise from Michael Willemoes.

Today the internet sees the launch of VapourFilms.co.uk, the London-based dynamic film-making duo of Ninna Pedersen and Gabrielle Le Bayon. The Flash-based site features a tasty collection of one-minute clips from Ninna’s and Gabrielle’s various film projects to date. Best of luck, VapourFilms!
