flash projection on back
Late November saw a visit to Krabbesholm Højskole in Skive, where I taught a workshop on building animations in Flash. In one week, the graphic design students built eleven animations for looped projection at a party examining and celebrating Black Light.

Zune 2.0 Released

Matthew | Motion & Video | Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

The new Zunes are out, with a new UI designed and built from the ground up. Of course, I can’t make a completely neutral review of it. But Paul Thurrott can.

The new firmware is strikingly visual, and quite a bit different from what Apple provides on the iPod nano and classic. It’s also a bit different from the original Zune software in that the menu text is now quite a bit bigger.

Watch the YouTube demos here or here with Bill Gates and J Allard at the Zune HQ.
